“O precious bodhicitta;
May it awaken in those not yet stirred;
May it never wither from those beholding;
Rather, shine ever brighter;
Growing vast and boundless;
Its blessings rippling through the ages!”
The upcoming 11 November 2025 (the 22nd day of the ninth month in the Tibetan calendar) marks the special day when Shakyamuni Buddha returns to the Saha world after preaching to his mother in heaven. This day therefore is also known as the “Heavenly Descent Day” or the “Descent Day.” The merits of any good deeds performed on this day will be multiplied a billionfold.
On this auspicious occasion, in this blessed and sacred place, the Donggasi Six Paramita Charity Foundation will hold the Second Annual Kagyu Monlam—World Peace Prayer Ceremony, lasting for two days. The ceremony will be presided over by His Holiness Tulku Trinley Thubten Chöje Gyaltsen Rinpoche.
